Most New Hampshire Residents Upbeat About Economy

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — A University of New Hampshire survey has found that a majority of residents are optimistic about the economy in the state, though Republicans are much more upbeat than Democrats.

Fifty-eight percent of those polled in the latest Business and Industry Association Report on Consumer Confidence said businesses in the state will prosper while 24 percent held mixed views and only 18 percent felt they would experience bad times. | More…
